Bianca Roe - Producer

Bianca Roe (née Chiminello) is an Australian-born actress, model, writer, and producer whose international career spans fashion, film, television, and theatre. Known for her evolution from globally recognized model to leading actress and creative producer, Roe’s work bridges independent cinema, prestige television, and large-scale theatrical production.

Roe first gained international recognition after winning Australia’s Ford Supermodel of the World Competition, launching a global modeling career across Europe and the United States. She worked with major fashion houses including Armani, Moschino, and Escada, and appeared in leading publications such as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and Marie Claire.

Originally trained as a classical ballerina, Roe transitioned into acting under her maiden name Bianca Chiminello, establishing herself in film and television with a range of leading and recurring roles. She became widely known to genre audiences for her recurring role as Jenavian Charto in the acclaimed sci-fi series Farscape, followed by appearances in major American television series including Dirty Sexy Money, Chuck, Monk, Charmed, Ugly Betty, BeastMaster, and The Lost World.

Her feature film work spans independent and studio productions, including Toxic, Devil’s Highway, and the Australian independent feature Lbf, in which she played the lead role of “The Beautiful Financial Backer.” She also appeared in David Fincher’s Academy Award-winning film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett.

Expanding beyond acting, Roe moved into producing and development, focusing on character-driven independent storytelling. She produced and co-wrote the feature film Japan (2008), starring Peter Fonda and Shane Brolly, in which she also performed a leading role. The project marked an early step in her transition toward creative leadership, combining performance, writing, and production within auteur-driven independent filmmaking. Her producing work has since centered on original intellectual property and internationally distributed independent projects.

A notable artistic collaboration in her career includes work assisting filmmaker Terrence Malick on The Tree of Life, the Palme d’Or–winning film internationally recognized for its poetic cinematic language and lasting influence on contemporary cinema.

Roe later expanded into large-scale theatrical production through the revival and development of the iconic Western property High Noon. The project reached a landmark milestone with its world premiere stage adaptation at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London’s West End, written by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Eric Roth and directed by Olivier Award-winner Thea Sharrock, representing a major contemporary reimagining of one of cinema’s most enduring stories.

Her producing work continues through film and television development connected to Teton Ridge Entertainment, focusing on Americana storytelling and modern reinterpretations of Western mythology across media platforms.

Today, Bianca Roe develops projects across theatre, film, and television as a producer focused on legacy intellectual property, independent storytelling, and cross-platform entertainment. Alongside her professional work, she has produced two productions for Living Theatre as a way of giving back to the artistic community, reflecting her commitment to accessible performance and grassroots creative development. A strong advocate for arts education and mentorship, Roe believes the future of the industry lies in nurturing emerging voices and creating pathways for young talent. Her career reflects a progression from performer to creative architect, combining artistic training, international screen experience, and producing leadership to shape stories for contemporary global audiences.
